Sarah Wilson Boyd

The first European settlements in Maryland were made in 1634 when English settlers created a permanent colony.

Sarah Wilson Boyd was born on December 20, 1747 in Maryland. She was the daughter of Thomas Wilson.

Sarah Wilson married William Boyd about 1777. William was born on October 29, 1754 in Frederick County, Maryland. He was the son of John Boyd and Susannah Baldwin.

Sarah and William's children included:
John Boyd (1778, married Frances Woodward) and
Ruth Boyd Jennings (1780, married John Jennings).

At the time of the 1790 census, William Boyd, was in Montgomery County, Maryland.
